Western and herbal digestive agents in order to ensure proper drug treatment by using Western

and herbal medicines.

Purpose This study focuses on the contents of what digestive agents should be administered to

patients with specific symptoms through the components of the drug, and at the same time, the

most recommended grade/baseline for functional indigestion by referring to the standard clinical

guidelines for functional indigestion oriental medicine. The purpose of this study is to find and

judge thesis that reviewed the literature on the efficacy of Pyeongwisan, which has a high level of

quality.

Method It consisted of Western digestive agents sold as over-the-counter drugs at pharmacies that

were actually practiced.

Result As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that Hyangsapyeongwisan inhibited lipid

peroxidation, scavenging DPPH free radical, scavenging superoxide radical, scavenging Nitric oxide,

scavenging peroxynitrite, and inhibiting LDL oxidation.

Conclusion it was confirmed that Hyangsapyeongwisan had a significant effect on the protective

effect against oxidative damage in HUVEC cells. Ingredients in herbal digestive agents are relatively

light on the body and are actually effective, so enough can be used for indigestion symptoms.
