Our society is undergoing a revolutionary transformation and the role of the pharmacists and the pharmaceutical society is crucial among this rapid change. The development of technology in itself is a matter of science and engineering, but it is also an economic issue in the changing society, and the economic issues affect the development of technology in return. Advances in technology surrounding us will change the face of our pharmacies very rapidly. The pharmaceutical society needs to reflect on how successfully new technologies are being applied by the pharmacies we manage and by the entire pharmacist society. Therefore, the public sector of the pharmaceutical society must allocate more resources to the innovation of the pharmaceutical society and business affairs. Most of the pharmacies have a monopolistic market structure, so they have low economic incentives for innovation. Therefore, the pharmacists and the pharmaceutical society should start researching various ways to make the relevant authorities and pharmacies into a competitive market with a strong atmosphere of innovation.
